The Granfondo Mugello "La Via del Latte" is a cycling event that will be held on June 29, 2025 in Scarperia.

This event offers participants the opportunity to cycle through breathtaking landscapes, starting from the iconic Mugello Circuit and then passing by Lake Bilancino. Once in Barberino, the competitors on the short route will head towards Galliano, Sant'Agata and then arrive at the finish line in Scarperia. All the others will tackle the climb of the Passo della Futa, of which the first 5 km (Montecarelli climb) will be the first timed section closed to traffic, a long descent to Firenzuola, where competitors who choose the medium route will climb the Giogo pass and then arrive in Scarperia. Those who choose the long route will first climb the Paretaio pass and after passing through Palazzuolo Sul Senio, they will tackle the second competitive timed section of the Passo della Sambuca, another short uphill section to Prato all'Albero and then a long and fast descent to Borgo San Lorenzo and subsequent arrival arriving in front of the splendid Palazzo dei Vicari in Scarperia.

Available routes:

• Short: 45 km with 427 meters of altitude difference, ideal for those who want a more relaxed experience.

• Medium: 80 km with 1,494 metres of altitude difference, for cyclists with a good level of training.

• Long: 132 km with 2,635 meters of altitude difference, designed for those looking for a demanding challenge.

• Gravel/MTB: 70 km with 700 meters of altitude difference, for lovers of dirt roads and dirt paths.
